Hi 6th grade families!
I am one of Mr. Funk’s students. My experience of 6th grade so far has been amazing! All of the freedom you receive as a 6th grader is a interesting new experience. I have learned so much in the first quarter of 6th grade in Mr. Funk’s class. The way Mr. Funk teaches math is a amazing method. He does an amazing job of explaining and makes learning enjoyable! Science is something I do not really enjoy, but hopefully I will like it more by the end of the year. I have big goals to keep my grades up throughout all of 6th grade and I think Mr. Funk will help me reach this goal.
The transition for 5th grade to 6th grade was not too hard for me. My teachers all did a great job of doing class bonding activities, assigning simple activities, and helping us adjust to the new environment.
I will always miss my elementary school, mostly my 5th grade year. That was probably the hardest adjustment for me. I have enjoyed all the assignments, including tests and quizzes, so far. Mr. Funk have provided good study materials and given us all the information we need to do well on our tests. That is all I have to say!
